Making one
- How long does it really take?
- Fifteen to twenty minutes for a page you are happy with. Your page starts complete rather than blank — you replace our words with yours and drop the scenes that are not your story, which is far quicker than writing from nothing.
- I am not good at writing. Will it show?
- That is most of what we are solving. Every field has a written example under it in the voice you picked, so you are editing a sentence rather than facing an empty box. The specific details are yours; the shape is ours.
- How do I choose between the templates?
- Answer the three questions at the start and we pick one for you based on the occasion, who it is for and the tone you want. If you would rather choose yourself, every template has a live demo you can open and scroll through before paying anything.
- What are the three voices?
- Warm, playful and literary. They rewrite the example copy throughout the page into a different register — sincere and plainly said, jokes carrying the serious bits, or quieter and sparer. You can switch between them at any point without losing a word you have written yourself.
- Can I use my own photos, video and voice notes?
- Yes, and they are what make it read as yours. Each gift holds up to 150MB of photos, video and audio, which is far more than most pages use. A recorded voice note is consistently the part people react to hardest.
- Do I need any design skills?
- No. The layout, spacing, animation and type are already set and hold together on their own. You can change the colours and fonts if you want to, but a page where you only changed the words still looks finished.
Sending it
- What if they open it before I am ready?
- Set an unlock time and the page shows a countdown until that exact moment. You can also put a password on it, so the link alone is not enough.
- Can I change it after I have sent the link?
- Yes. Edits go live on the same link, so you can fix a typo after they have already opened it. The link never changes.
- Is it actually private?
- Every gift sits on an unguessable address and we tell search engines to ignore them. Nothing is listed anywhere public. Add a password for a second lock.
- Is there something physical to hand over?
- Every gift comes with a QR code you can print onto a card, tuck into a book or stick on a box. Scanning it opens the same private page, which solves the problem of having nothing in your hands on the day.
- Does the person receiving it need an account?
- No. They tap the link and the page opens — no sign-up, no app, nothing to install. If you set a password they will need that, and nothing else.
- Can they reply?
- Yes. There is a reply box at the end of the page, and what they write comes back to you. It is optional and it is private between the two of you.
Paying
- Why is there no monthly plan?
- Because a keepsake that stops working when a card expires is not a keepsake. You buy the page once and it stays where you left it.
- Is anything held back for a higher tier?
- No. Every feature a template has comes with it — all three voices, custom colours and type, reordering, video and voice notes, password, scheduled unlock, QR code. There is nothing to upgrade to.
- Why do prices differ between templates?
- Longer templates with more scenes and more built games cost more to make and to run. A page with four playable scenes is a different amount of work from a short letter.
- What is the media limit for?
- Each gift holds up to 150MB of photos, video and audio. Storage is the one cost that continues after you have paid, so it is the one thing with a ceiling. Most pages use well under a third of it.
- Can I buy more than one?
- Yes, each page is bought on its own. There is no account minimum and nothing recurring.
- Can I get a refund?
- Gifts are personalised and delivered immediately, so they are not returnable once made. If something has genuinely gone wrong — a payment taken twice, a page that will not load — email us and we will put it right. Our refund policy sets out the detail.
Keeping it
- What happens to it in a year?
- It stays exactly where you left it. You pay once and there is no renewal — the whole point is a keepsake, and a keepsake that expires is not one.
- Does it work on an old phone?
- Yes. Pages are built mobile-first, images are sized for the device asking for them, and the animation steps aside entirely if someone has reduced motion switched on.
- Can I delete it later?
- Yes. A gift can be deleted from your dashboard at any time, and deleting it takes the page and its media down for good. It is your page and it stays your decision.
